Jane Austen, an English author famous for works such as Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, died at the young age of 41 in 1817. The author had much love for the thriving city of Bath, making it her home of residence in 1801 through to 1806, and even setting two of her novels in the city: Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion.
