Alton Barnes is a charming village nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, England. It's known for its rich history, picturesque setting, and the iconic Alton Barnes White Horse, a chalk hill figure carved into the hillside overlooking the village.

White Horse

The magnificent Alton Barnes White Horse is a must-see for any visitor to the village. The horse is about 180 feet tall and 160 feet long, and it was carved in 1812. There are several walking trails that lead up to the horse, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
